Can I do Better than this for a RTW?

Thinking of doing some RTW Flights this year

AC/SQ have a J/C Class at $5654.00 CDN.
About $3700 US

It allows a free side trip to Bangkok, but all others must be bought seperate.
It can originate in Canada or U.S.

Is there much else out there now that is any cheaper???

Is the RTW anywhere they fly or is it North Pacific only? If it is the latter, it is on par for that routing. If you can fly to Australia/New Zealand for that fare, it is a bargain. If you are not hung up on getting miles, you might be able to get cheaper RTW fares on other mileage plan-unaffiliated carriers.

Make sure your fare isn't U.S.-originating. That generally results in a higher fare than a Canada-originating one.

FWIW, SQ and AC are *A carriers!

Also see: http://www.geocities.com/osointer/oneworld.htm

for oneworld RTW prices.

Also check www.travel.com.au (in the European destinations section) to get an idea of what other RTW offerings are out there.

Might also want to check fares originating in Mexico or some low-G.D.P. central American/Caribbean country.

I just bought a north of the equator RTW in first on UA/CX for US$3,300.00. But you have to start in Bangkok.
