What a royal pain in the ......
According to the rep, fares were raised to the *a levels...
Anyway, here are a couple, and maybe Slovenia is the last great fare. Maybe not. Both are 6 cont, and she couldn't find a fare for Slovakia.
Czech Republic 319,000 $8142
Slovenia 1,464,400 $6130
$300 increase isn't so bad, but $2600!!!!

In the midst of all this gloom, Slovenia seems to remain a good deal for originating the OWE. Darren's quoted price of 1464400 for the AOWE6 is only a small increase from the previous price of 1394600.
Darren, could you be so kind as to let me know the full range of prices in local currency for 3,4,5& 6 continents in D and A class originating from Slovenia?
It's not that I'm too lazy to find out for myself- living in the UK, I don't seem to have as much access to helpful travel agents. I asked BA for the cheapest places to originate a OWE and they were very 'hush-hush' about it - "we have no access to fares originating abroad" they tell me...typical.
Thanks
Salt.

Now I'm really confused...
Encouraged by Darren's fare from Slovenia, I went to the BA Slovenia website and found the fares originating from Slovenia:
A: 922800, 1107400, 1273400, 1464400
D: 617800, 741200, 741800, 980300
Great I thought!
Then I tried searching for BA flights between London and Ljubljana... none found on any day of the week.
(They used to fly between LGW and Ljubljana on Tu, Fr & Su but that was only until Oct 28 and things seem to have changed for the worse).
And I've now seen Richlond's confirmation that there are indeed no OW flights out of Slovenia.
So there is a BA Website for Slovenia with a OWE fare chart but no OW flights out of the place. It confuses me as to why they have put an updated price chart up if OW airlines have stopped flying there.

Prolly why it is cheap
I don't see who flies in and out of Slovenia, and I don't have time to look more closely right now. I assumed BA did, but it doesn't look to be the case. There are a few BA codeshare/subsidiaries that are available under OWE, maybe one of them? Otherwise, you got me.
Oh, I got the fare from AA. They were really nice, but said they had calls waiting, so they couldn't give me the rundown of prices. She said that I could call back and get some more if I wanted, but I have a few papers due tomorrow, and don't have the time. If someone doesn't first, I will try to get a few next week.

I can confirm that there are no Explorer tickets from Slovakia or Slovenia. BA does not fly there any more.
Salt......you found the prices on BA's website? Tell me how. I looked at it the other day and never noticed a link to RTW prices.

I, too, looked at my OAG pocket flight guide immediately upon reading your posts, Darren and Salt. Gosh, Ljubljana is sadly pretty much stripped of international carriers this season. Only Adria Airways seem to fly in and out of LJU to major European cities, some of which are code-shared but none with OW carriers. Would BA return the service there during the summer travel season? I wonder.
ChrisMoss7, thank you again for taking the time to update us, though. As a new transfer student to OW from *A, this sure has been a heck of a season to begin my semester in the class of OWE, as I wanted to
attain a degree of EP on my AA program.

Chris, if you go to http://www.britishairways.com , at the bottom left, there is a place to go to country specific websites. Only some countries have them, btw. As you are transferred, they are usually in the Holidays or Specials sections. Also gives info about the Global Explorer, or whatever that ripoff (imo) is called.

I have been trying to find a cheap 1w rtw in F. My scouring has found that ex Spain seems to have the best fares in for originating in Europe. In USD 4699 for F, not bad!
Hope it helps.
