OneWorld RTW...can't get from LAX to YVR!

OneWorld RTW...can't get from LAX to YVR!
After CP leaves oneWorld on June 1st, you will not be able to use CP services on OneWorld RTW fares anymore. So the dillema is flying from LAX to Vancouver ... it's impossible!
So I wonder if AA will reinstate their LAX to YVR service? Actually come to think of it - with all OneWorld RTW fares, you can fly into and out of Canada but just can't do the middle bits.

I can relate, you wouldn't believe the massive hassle I've had dealing with CP to finish my RTW.
Just dealing with the cutbacks in flight options makes connections to pretty much anywhere incredibly unfriendly (I've got to spend almost 3 hours in yyz to get from ywg to yow!).
I hope AA starts flying to more cities in Canada (YWG!) so I can still use the RTW's.

I think it would be wonderful if AA started to fly out of YWG, but I don't think Winnipeg could support AA flying in anything but a 50-seat RJ.
If you are on the west coast maybe AA will buy out Alaska Air or have them join oneworld. That would solve your problem.
Note: can you use the ow RTw fares on ow coded flights operated by other airlines (AA coded flights on Alaska Air for example)?
