BA Canada tell me OneWorld codeshare flights don't qualify
Spoke to Alexa at BA Executive Club Canada service desk today. She tells me that OneWorld codeshare flights (e.g., flights operated by one OW airline but operated by another OW airline) do not count for miles! Does she know what she is talking about?
This might scuttle 75k in bonuses.

If they count in your program, they count for your bonuses! I think she is getting confused with non Oneworld carrier code shares. When in doubt, phone somebody else.

Here are rules from BA's site:
If you travel on three or more different oneworld alliance airline eligible flights* during the competition period, you will collect the following number of bonus Miles:
No. of different oneworld alliance airlines flown Bonus Miles collected
Three 25,000
Four 50,000
Five or more 100,000
Please note that all bonus Miles will be awarded at the end of the promotional period and at the latest by 31 January 2000.
* An eligible flight is one which is both marketed and operated by a oneworld alliance airline (marketed means that there must be a oneworld alliance airline flight number on your ticket).
** Should first class not be available, you will be ticketed in the next highest class of service.
Nothing about codeshares being ineligible, only that they must be oneworld flight number on a oneworld operated flight.

BlondeBomber, I did explicitly tell her the flight I want to take (QF on CP metal YVR-HNL) is operated and marketed by non-BA OneWorld members. I do think she is confused with say, the CP-AZ codeshare but want to be sure.
I will have to call someone else. Can't get through to anyone but her.

Remember she will not be posting your miles. You might want to talk to someone at Exec Club UK if you still feel uneasy. My view is that you have the rules and they are clear. They have not issued any addendums further restricting those rules so they have to cough up!

this has been a problem for alot of people. for example in us ba exec club, code shares between aa-cp do not count for mileage, and hence not for the 1w program. they have specific numbers they exclude. best bet is to make sure the flight number and livery are the same. i had to make an extra trip to yyz to fly cp up and aa back for exec club in order to ensure the bonus. i wouldn't be surprised if it was the same for you. this regulation was not stated in the promotion rules, but in the rules for posting mileage from each of the various carriers.

Update:
I booked QF YVR-HNL (on CP metal) yesterday. Travel agent calls me up to tell me that QF cancelled the reservation as it is not allowed (shows up on the various booking screens) unless I am connecting onto the south Pacific. I guess this cans the last 50k.
