Finding 5 QUALIFIED econo trips within SE Asia?

I just finished a CP V-class trip HKG-MNL and hope to get OW credit on both AA & BA, using my HKG address. I have booked some other short flights to qualify for the other 4 carriers.

But, of course the bottom line is which class of service must be used to insure credit? - In my case, for AA & BA members in Asia?

Does anyone have a comprehensive list of qualifying fare bases for AA & BA. I saw the warning about Q & W fares one BA - and have Mijne's post of 10-5. Is there a posting somewhere of AA fares that qualify?

Also, my CP boarding pass stubs do not show my ff acct nos., even tho I asked counter agents at each airport to put my numbers on the respective flights. Will I have to send the originals in for credit [via registered mail]?

Thanks for any comments.

BTW, there are courier flights from HKG-BKK that use CX and CP - depending on which day you can go. They are about half the cost of the cheapest tickets, but often have return constraints.

Courier flights usually mean that you cannot earn ff miles! Be careful about that!

Where is your BA Exec Club Service Centre based? If it is in HK, remember that the status miles are credited toward BA but the award miles are credited in AsiaMiles. Therefore AsiaMiles rules are enforced.

Call or go to AA's office in HK and ask them about each airlines' class of service codes in economy that will qualify for miles.

Your frequent flyer number should have been printed on you boarding pass. Keep your BP and ticket for now. And wait for a couple of weeks. AA's should be credited within 2 weeks. If not, then send in documents. The same for BA/AsiaMiles. Another thing you should check with AA - whether your flights with BA will be credited . There was a clause somewhere at one time that Asian based members will not credit on BA flights. That rule might have changed since OneWorld became official, but better be sure than sorry later!

Where to next?
