In case anyone runs into trouble in dealing with agents of AA in regard to oneworld, ask the agent to contact OWL (as in the bird). OWL is the oneworld line, which is set up for airline employees to call and clarify questions, problems, etc... Also, people have been advised to NOT give the OWL phone number to customers.
