I've just noticed these two non-stop services

BA LHR-DUR 3 times per week B787-800 (note the return flight is a daylight flight)

CX HKG-CPT again 3 times per week A350-900. This seems to seasonal - nothing in ExpertFlyer after 18/02/2109

Good info. Thanks.

My pipe dream is that CX re-introduce their F/A class between HKG and JNB or CPT. No airline currently offers First from anywhere in The Far East or Australasia.

LATAM GRU-TLV three times per week B787

Not sure how long this flight has been operating, but I've only just become aware of it

Edited to add:
Delving further, it is in fact a SCL-xGRU-TLV service
(as an aside, that means there's a B787 service SCL-GRU-SCL three times a week)

I used to love flying CX F HKG-JNB. My spouse and I flew in 1AK on a 747, departing just before midnight on 12/31, allowing us to celebrate New Year's in the air. We were the only F passengers.

Has AA discontinued this route?
It no longer appears in ExpertFlyer
But is does still appear on the Oneworld "where we fly" map

I believe it is seasonal - can be booked for the coming January (I was looking at Australia Day).

The route is seasonal. It was launched in 2018.

Edit: It operated in W18-19 but not the current winter.

Qatar to start SFO service 15 December, SEA 15 March

https://www.seattletimes.com/busines...doha-in-march/

QR will fly DOH-SFO and DOH-SEA four times a week, both services using A350-900s.

Alaska and QR have also announced a mileage plan partnership effective 15 Dec, coinciding with the SFO service. Of course they were going to be partners automatically once AS joins Oneworld (31 March 2021) but this will give them a head start. AS currently partners with EK, but whether that survives AS' Oneworld entrance remains to be seen.

Excited about the QR launch of service at SEA & SFO. Hope at least one of those flights is equipped with QSuites
