OW Emerald- First Class Check in on TAM?

OW Emerald- First Class Check in on TAM?
Hi all,
Will be traveling domestically in Y on TAM coming up next week as an AA EXP (OW Emerald). Is it possible to use First Class check in at GRU?
I understand there is a separate room for F check-in at GRU.
Would I be denied F check-in since I will be in Y on a domestic flight? Do they recognize the OW emerald benefit?

The exception for check-in only mentions that Ruby members cannot check-in on J counter, so I suppose you can use the F check-in counter. Do note that you cannot use the JJ F lounge at GRU.
