The 'common lounge' referred to above is probably one of Cathay Pacific's. All of them are fantastic, but the best of them all is just past security, near gate 2.

MH uses the Plaza Premium Lounge, not any of CX's lounges in HKG. However, since you are travelling in J on a OW carrier, you can access any of CX's J lounges per http://www.oneworld.com/ffp/lounge-access/.

When does the renovated QF lounge open? Can't wait to check it out. My guess is AA will be using this lounge when they fly to HKG in June.

CX Wing, CX Pier, CX G16, CX Cabin and CX Bridge
