DONEWC3 - routing check please?

Hello All,

Please will somebody check my routing.

CPT-JNB-MRU-JNB-HKG-SIN-MEL-PER-ADL-(surface sector). MEL-CNS-MEL. (surface sector) SYD-JNB-CPT.

Does the Mauritius option work and if not how can I get it to? I can drop the CPT flight or start from somewhere else in SA like JNB or PLZ.

Do the 4 sectors inside Aus with the 2 ground sectors work?

The only problem I see is the visit to MRU
It falls foul of the rule:
ONLY ONE INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE AND ONE INTERNATIONAL ARRIVAL TO/FROM THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN IS PERMITTED
You are starting in South Africa, so when you leave it to go to Mauritius you cannot re-enter SA until the end of the trip

Can you start from somewhere else in (near) Africa, such as Zimbabwe or Namibia? You could then start with a Comair flight to JNB and then SA is no longer your country of origin and so you can fly JNB-MRU-JNB

You do not have to return to the country of origin at the end - anywhere in Africa will do; so you can still finish up in CPT

You itinerary in Australia is fine, I presume you actually want the surface segments because you could fly to all the points you've chosen (SIN-PER-ADL-MEL-CNS-SYD-JNB)

Finally, you are not maximising your flight segments - only one flight in Asia when you can have four!

Thanks for the help. I live in MEL hence using it as a starting and end point a few times. I will get my self from ADL to MEL.

Thanks for the help about MRU. I do have to get there and I don't feel like buying a ticket.

Should have added to my earlier post...

If you choose to start from another African country then you must of course pay the fare for that country

Base fares for a DONEWC3 from:
Namibia 56,350NAD (price from Sth Africa is 53,640ZAR and 1 NAD = 1 ZAR)
Zimbabwe 7,495USD

and of course you face the issue of purchasing the ticket - presumably from outside the country of origin
