I've had hundreds of fares show up on expert flyer searches before. Granted, they were point to point searches and not RTW type products...

Here are a few:

I am not a computer expert, but it seems to me that the data entry format on experflyer.com is too complicated for large scale data gathering, although it can be used to check specific starting points. Some of the old favorites, i.e. JNB, remain good candidates. Beyond that, I would be pleasantly surprised to hear about a reliable source of information.

If you read the thread that is linked it was someone inquiring about an old relic fare that was last good a number of years before. It has now been updated I would assume which is what you are seeing.

KRT isn't coming up, perhaps it has been pulled. It was higher than ex-CAI last time it was updated though.
Use the www.oneworld.com RTW Planner to find the total price, as it depends on the routing, airlines, taxes and other charges.

and follow the directions to get a quote for an rtw fare. Or as suggested above price it out at oneworld.com using the booking tool.
Also look at the other posts in this thread that list cheaper starting points and the link to a post in another thread that lists a few. Also the price from Sudan has gone up tremendously and has been posted in the KRT thread:

If your total purpose is to get AA Exec Plat status, you can probably do it for less than USD4K. Look at the Mileage Run forum.

Doing an xonex as a mileage run to get status isn't really that cost effective anymore. See also this recent thread:

Yes, he would need to fly 66,667 miles on a DONE or AONE with 5 or 6 continents needed to reach that mileage. Not exactly a cheap way to do EXP.

If your sole aim is to achieve AA EXP then this is not the cheapest way to do it, you'll most likely be looking at around USD$10,000 with positioning flights.
I'd also question if its really worth spending that sort of money to achieve AA EXP from scratch.
