Question How to book KHI-MEL on CX/QF?

Not sure if this is the right forum for this type of enquiry, Mods please feel free to move if required.

I travel quite frequently between Pakistan & Australia and over the last 5-6 years have used almost all different types of airlines and combinations, namely EY, EK, MH, TG, QR, CX..

Recently I have heard of travel agents offering Qantas tickets with the following routing:

KHI-BKK (on CX)
BKK-SYD (QF)
SYD-MEL(QF)

There are numerous combinations to these as well, for example the final leg can be SYD-AKL if required.

This routing results in some really good fares. Eg, My friend who told me about this was able to book a J class fare for KHI-BKK-SYD, return for around $1400.. And this ticket is valid for 12 months!

Similarly a friend was able to book KHI-BKK-SYD-AKL, return, for $950 in economy!

My question: Where can I book these fares online? So far no online booking engine shows me this routing... Anyway of revealing this fares on ITA?

Hey

Thanks for your response. My friends are using travel agents. I can use them as well but I would rather book the same fare online as I would be able to pay via AMEX and earn points. Travel agents in Pakistan generally high fees for Credit card usage.

I was able to contact one and he was able to quote me this fare:

1. CX 2700 21APR KHIBKK HK1 0020 0720 O* SU
2. QF 24 21APR BKKSYD HK1 1825 #0645 O* SU
3. QF 417 22APR SYDMEL HK1 0830 1005 O* MO
4. QF 414 18JAN MELSYD HK1 0800 0925 O* SA
5. QF 23 18JAN SYDBKK HK1 1115 1635 O* SA
6. CX 703 18JAN BKKKHI HK1 2000 2325 O* SA

Fare: PKR 170,000/

Anybody know what all the numbers mean next to the flight times and if there is a way to book this exact fare online?

Cross posting is contrary to FT rules, so I'm going to close this thread.
