Exclamation Oneworld: South Pacific partners.

I'm wondering why OW never offered FJ alliance membership. They cover a good portion of the pacific island region(route map) while serving three OW hubs in the pacific rim region. Then there's the agreement with QF, AA, and AS.

AFAIK, QF own part of FJ and flights on FJ credit well to QF FF (miles and SCs). FJ may not fit the "quality" image that OW tries to project.

Air Pacific is owned by the Fijian government (51%), and QF(46.32%). As far as quality goes, they don't seem any less than Malev. QF should sponsor them as an affiliate member.

The Fijian government not exactly one that is socially acceptable to most.
Qantas has been reportedly trying to sell its stake for a while

But IIRC there was a degree of democracy in Fiji in recent years.
