Help with Mexicana ticket
I tried making a HAV-MEX transaction on MX this evening on the web-site.
Keyed in all my details, punched in my credit card details (MBNA UK Mastercard), etc., clicked the purchase button. A page showing a confirmation number (I think! Not sure
) flashed across the screen very quickly, then I was redirected back to the MX webpage.
I have not received a confirmation email or text message. Nothing! Just wondering if the transaction got through at all.
I called the credit card company to check if there was a pending transaction from MX. There isn't.
Who would be issuing the ticket? HAV? MEX?
Do I have to call the offices in HAV or MEX? Or would the offices in Europe be able to help as well?

Usually any worldwide agent of the airline you're dealing with can search through reservation records for you, so call whichever MX office is most convenient.
But if MBNA has reported that they don't even have an authorization request from MX, then there likely wasn't anything reserved and you'll want to try again after confirming with MX reservations.
Peace.

Thanks, I called the Europe 0808 free number today and paid for the ticket over the phone.
The reservation was apparently cancelled. Don't now why. Maybe my card did not like the fare quoted in CUP. The fare quoted over the phone today was in US$.

The message you saw most likely said that purchases are only allowed on a CC issued in Mexico. Happened to me and I had it issued through a travel agent without problems.
It seems that rather than excluding US issued cards, they require Mexican cards. Maybe Visa and Mastercard have some connection to the US in their IT innards that could cause them trouble
