oneworld award availablilty ?
hi,
i just tried to book an awardflight MUC-LHR via a LAN call center. i did a research on available award flights on ba.com and qantas.com and got availability for almost all scheduled flights.
i don't have enough points in either the BA and the QF program so i wanted to book them via my LANPASS account.
the call center agent then told me that there is only a business class award seat available on IB MUC-MAD-LHR.
do oneworld airlines not share their award availability 100% or did i just get a very incompetent agent?
i would expect that when there is award availability on a BA flight that i can book that flight with any OW FF program.
cheers

Yesterday I successfully booked LGA - YUL flight with my LANPASS kms. I first checked AA.com to see if there was award availability and the LAN agent had no trouble seeing the flights I wanted.
This is the first time I've used LAN kms for a OW (non-LAN) flight.
Maybe it's worth calling again?
