DONE5 and potential IB strike in Dec

Not that I'm panicking (actually I am slightly as I need to travel on the date I have booked) but I am due to fly DME-MAD-SCL in December (DME-MAD on IB / MAD-SCL on LA) should IB go ahead with their planned strikes in December, can anyone advise me how I should deal with this? i.e. calling AA to rebook on BA via LHR or AY via HEL? I assume that no reissuing fee will be charged?

Thanks in advance

BA potentially has a strike in December too (currently one of the cabin crew unions is balloting for a strike).

Unless you have a flexible fare there is little you can do until close to departure, unless you are prepared to buy a new ticket.
