Cool IBERIA- missing miles

I have flown often with ONEWORLD airlines and I've always registered either on-line or at check-in my membership with Iberia. I've found a bitter surprise have seen that NO miles from British Airways, Japan Airlines and other airlines used were added to my mileage. I've ask to the airlines I've flown with and they've given the fault to Iberia never proofing their transmission to Iberia. Result: thousands and thousands miles lost. Did anybody experience such a problem? Could anybody help me on how to act to get my mileage back? Thanks in advance!!

Welcome to FT, gcinque49!

It often happens that miles don't register. Not just with IB but also with other carriers. Same in Star Alliance or Skyteam. Did you actually have a ticket which earns miles at all?

What you need to do is to send your boarding pass together with the ticket number to Iberia so they can credit the miles manually. If you don't have the boarding pass anymore you can try with other things: Luggage tags, ticket copy or anything else which proofs you were on the flight.
Normally, you will need the boarding passes but you might be lucky.

IB is not known to have a really great FFP. If you fly them a lot it makes sense to stay with them otherwise you might want to consider moving to another program based on your travel pattern. This board is a great resource for this.

Welcome to FT.

You need to check with Iberia as to what flight class (fare bucket) is eligible to get miles to your Iberia freq flyer program. With all flights its best to keep the boarding pass to prove you took a flight. Most freq flyer program's have a time limit in which to claim missing miles.
