Airport joy

Its a bad start to the day in Oz airports if you are showing your Passport. Seems the technology has died. YMMV?

Also affected NZ airports (which use the same software provider for the passport checks).

A telco outage in the UK took the or part of the SITA system down. Hit NZ and Aussie the worst due to timezones.

Dang, I've found it busy enough on most days as it is, getting into Australia through passport control, without such technological hitches!
