I will send in a complaint, but I really don't think Delta management wants to be confused by facts since their minds are already made up. The best thing to do is just switch airlines.

Besty in class? REALLY??? SERIOUSLY???
My beef really is them referring to this as best in class. How do you promote "We are making our FF program the best in class" AND THEN LOWER ALMOST EVERY PERK? Seriously, take away mileage for Elites, add fees for awards, blah, blah, blah... REALLY, what improvement has happened for Worldperks customers? Worldperks must be really cocky if they think they can take away perks and have their program become best in class. I will continue to fly NWA because I really have no other option for direct flights everywhere and it irritates me that they know this! :)
|
One more thing I found out at the DL forum, the level of award availability depends on the traveler, not on the account where the miles come from. So only a Plat flyer would have access to Plat award inventory but not a regular flyer using miles from a Plat account.
This really affects me since I hardly fly on awards myself, too busy to rack up the EQM! Friends and family will have much lower chance of success, even if the miles come from my account. CO is starting to look better and better . Looks like 'best in class' is going to involve another degradation in benefits for us NW flyers . |
Sorry to jump into this thread so late in the game. I just have to say kudos to the NW side for hearing my pleas. The PU503 systemwide upgrade certs given to PE are just useless (not applicable to lowest 3 fare classes). Being a Hawaiian resident, I got used to the PU464 certs since it upgrades any fare class into full F or J buckets.
So, after 2 attempts of pleading, I got 4 PU464 certs (same as GE members in Hawaii) awarded to me. Moral of the story: NW will listen to their elite members. |

Hello!
I think it is a shame NWA WorldPerks is getting rid of all the Perks they used to offer before the merger with Delta. Also, I have linked my accounts now, and what I found out was that if I booked an award trip with Delta it would be about 150 USD more expensive for the same route, the same date, and the same flights.... Shame, actually.... |
I'd like to have Soukup's e-mail address. The recent letter from him and Jeff Robertson comparing Delta SkyMiles credit card with what the WorldPerks credit card will become ("Generic Travel Card") lists advantages of the SkyMiles credit card, including "Buy One Get One companion certificate." The fact is that there are both Gold and Platinum SkyMiles cards, and the certificate is not part of the Gold card. The Platinum card fee is $150 a year! (The Gold is $95 a year, with the first year waived. The "generic" USBank card will have no fee in the coming year.)
Thanks. |
Just sent my ElitePerks "junk" mail I got in the mail recently back to NW as a protest - what a joke.. 100K start point... hmmmmmm waist of $ to mail such an item if you ask me!
Thanks "new" Delta!! |
[email protected] has been deleted.
I guess Delta doesn't care about our comments anymore.
I just tried to send a comment to [email protected]. Unknown user: [email protected] RCPT TO generated following response: 550 Recipient address rejected: User unknown Does anyone know of a good e-mail address to send complaints to? Sure, I've sent my two cents to NWA TTU and DL "Email Us" -- But, I'd like my comments to get to someone who actually makes decisions within the organization... you know, like old times. |

I just tried to send a comment to [email protected]. The last time I sent something there was May 12. I never got a reply, but it never bounced, so I assume that one got there. So, sometime between 5/12 and 6/2 (now) they deleted this account. Does anyone know of a good e-mail address to send complaints to? As I mentioned before, happy to send Bob's email address to anyone interested. Clearly they're getting more mail on this from Platinum members than anything else before ...now we should start encouraging Gold members to complain about the new increased fees and that they're not getting any relief!!! Thanks! ;) -A |
Does Bob even respond? Has he been locked by the croniness of Jeff? Is scoop even alive anymore?
|
Not sure about Bob, but I know Scoop v1.0 is still around and does monitor this board... I did get a present from him last week, now I just have to get home from my biz trip to see what it is... ;)

Delta Killed My Airline and FF Program - RIP WorldPerks NWA Forum Moderator - FlyerTalk Member #1,038 I had hoped someone would come to the rescue and it seems as if they have. SUN TRUST, an online bank (?) is offering a SkyMiles VISA card. I ran across a promo on the Delta site about it. The cheapest one gives 1 mile for every $2 spent, but it's only $22 a year. The next better one gives 1 mile for every $1 spent and is $55 per year. There is a 5,000 mile bonus for getting the card. Sounds good. Does anyone know anything about that bank? |
