which NWA lounge should I try?

I just got a one-time nwa lounge pass. On my upcoming travel I will pass through MSP, NRT on my outbound trip, NRT, DTW on my return trip. Which lounge should I try? Is one much better than the others?

Thanks!

I prefer longer layovers in MSP and DTW (never been to NRT) and usually visit two on each connection, but in MSP even if you only have an hour you could do both the C and F/G lounges (the C lounge for the quiet intimacy, and the Summit Pale Ale on tap, and the F/G lounge to see what a barn looks like from the inside).

In DTW, if you have at least an hour, you can do either of the lounges at the far ends of the tram (for their quiet intimacy, but particularly for their convenience--if you are using the tram from either end they are right across the platform); then hit the big central lounge near the center tram stop for the terrific view on how each travelling individual has a completely different style of walk, as well as a different level of determination and general interest in & awareness of surroundings (from the very comfortable chairs at the large glass windows overlooking the terminal) while enjoying this really great lounge, that does not suffer at all from its great size. If you are over in the B/C concourse you could go to the lounge there if it is convenient. It has some not-so-spectacular views of the taxiing traffic between the A and B/C concourses, but other than that it is just kind of o.k. if you are over there, or if you are in a hurry.

The NRT lounge is by far the best in the system.

Definitely agree with the C lounge at MSP, especially with Summit on tap; the F/G is kind of like my high school cafeteria on crack. As for DTW, the end clubs are alright, but I usually just head for the center club and take advantage of the window area overlooking the terminal.

DTW or NRT for the win.

As mentioned, the WCs at the ends of the terminal at DTW are where I usually go because there is almost no one in those WCs and it is very quiet.

I think the worst WC I've been to is KIX. Sufficient drink selection, incredibly poor food selection.

NRT hands down. The lounges are hip, chic and lots of good tasty treats, sushi, two sakis, automatic draft beer machines, soups, sandwiches, showers, and much more. The DTW lounges and the C-concourse at MSP are nice too but NRT is the best Skyteam wide.

The only better lounge that I've been to is the China Airlines Dynasty Lounge (granted there are some other sweet lounges that I have read about) that is better because they have a made-to-order noodle bar and other tasty treats....

Of course it depends on how much time you'd have in each connection....

This is no-contest:
N-R-T!

I would visit the NRT lounge for 1 hour over the MSP/DTW ones for 3 hours. It's nice.

Uh, before you show up at the NRT lounge, lounge pass in hand, you might want to confirm that the lounge pass is valid there. Why I mention this is that the WC lounge passes I'm familiar with (such as the one that came as a freebie last year with my WC elite card, and those sold by NW, below) are only valid at certain US locations.

From the WorldClubs Day Pass page on the NWA website:
WorldClubs Day Passes are accepted at any Northwest Airlines-operated WorldClubs in the following 14 U.S. Cities:

* Boston
* Honolulu
* Milwaukee
* Newark
* Washington Dulles

* Chicago-O'Hare
* Los Angeles
* Minneapolis/St. Paul
* Portland
* Washington National/Ronald Reagan

* Detroit
* Memphis
* New York City - LaGuardia
* Seattle/Tacoma

Thanks, this one came with the NW worldperk sigature visa card. It says " presents this at any worldclubs worldwide..." and on the back it did list NRT as one of the worldclubs locations. So I guess it should be OK.

I have 2-hour lay-over at NRT, and 3-hour lay-over at DTW. You think 2-hour at NRT is enough time for me to enjoy the lounge? I would like to try NRT if possible.

NRT shouldn't be a problem. Shoot, with 3 hrs. at DTW, you could do the 4 club tour...

I have to agree on NRT, but respectfully disagree with the Dynasty Lounge, at least in TPE. I enjoyed the noodles, but I found the lounge to smell not-so-good. The furniture was old and everything appeared a bit dingy to me.

Now, I think the KE lounges are great. Particularly in Incheon. But, now that I think about it, I am not particuarly impressed with them in ORD. They use the AF lounge in IAD, which is nice. The new KE lounge in the new ICN terminal is great. Wide open and great food. And, their lounge in the "old" terminal is also top notch.

Haven't been to NRT recently but my understanding is that now there are only 2 lounges (previously 3) and both are now the same, new chic style
