We're going in!
The Flight Attendants are now scheduled to go in for their new uniform fittings. Delta wants us in their uniform by spring '09.
So, em, anyone out there not for the DL acquisition of NW; HURRY UP! SAY SOMETHING! STOP THIS AIRLINE MADNESS!

So how do these compare to the uniforms that NW had designed and shown off a few months back.
Since I first saw them I thought that the silver-gray ties that DL's male agents wear now are pretty formal and surely real dirt catchers.

Word is that former NWA FA's will have uniforms slightly different than legacy Delta FA's. They will feature a red tail.

The silver ties are gone, since they were real dirt catchers.

I like Delta's new uniforms much better than NW's new ones, I think they are much more consistent, sharper and overall better. (How many million options did NW select??)
I'm interested to here the FA's opinions on them since they will, after all, be the ones wearing them.

I tend to agree NWA's just look worn.

^^ The Richard Tyler designed uniforms is one "core" where DL excels. I hope they prove a morale booster for NW FA's and signal that the days of Steenland's heavy-handed mistreatment of his employees is coming to an end.

I dont get why this is even news. What did the fa's think? The companies would merge and they would keep wearing NWA uniforms. NEWS FLASH if/when the merger goes through you will be Delta FA's. Sheesh

It's news because of how soon they will be switching over to DL uniforms. Even though NW will remain on a separate operating certificate for a year and a half, it will take only a fourth or a third of a year for the FAs to switch into these uniforms.

Changes in uniforms and livery are inevitable. As much as I love the red tails, I'm more concerned with FFP changes, fees and such.
