E-First Upgrade

I am checking in on NWA.com for a flight tommorow from MKE-HNL and it says I can upgrade to first/business class for $85.00. Does this include the MSP-Hnl leg or just the MKE-MSP leg?

I would -expect- that the UG would be the whole MKE-MSP-HNL. and at $85 you would be foolish not to take it. If they don't deliver, I would TTU and request my money back.

I'd print out the page that is offering that foolishly low upgrade price, before you accept it. I'd guess that they're not going to UG the overwater portion, but I'd take a gamble on it. $85 is so cheap.

Strange offer. My guess is that it is only for the MKE-MSP flight. The direct nonstop flight from MSP to HNL tomorrow (6/12) shows P2 F0 Y1 B1 M0 H0 Q0 V0 L0 T0 K0. So, the flight is full and NW is only willing to sell 2 first class seats. I wouldn't expect them to offer an inexpensive upgrade with a nearly full cabin. I assume you are on NW flight 809 from MSP??

Perhaps the OP's Y fare is high enough that NWA is offering the UG at what appears to be a significant discount?
