Is it changeable
I mistakingly purchased a round trip JFK-AMS ticket, I live in Virginia and will like to fly out of IAD, do you know if NW/KL agents will change JFK to IAD for me over the phone? any experience with this?
The fare class is B and was purchsed a week ago the trip date is 01/15/2004

I suspect the answer will ultimately be to pick up the phone and call NWA. You'll probably pay a change fee, and any fare difference between JFK/IAD fares.

Yes for most fares. You will have to pay a change fee. In the end, it does not matter what we say you will have to call NWA.

P.S. You have till midnight central time the next day to cancel your ticket. So if you've bought your ticket today regardless of most fare classes, you should have till midnight central tomorrow to cancel without penalty. A charge will show up on your bill but will be credited back.
