50% EQM Question

My search didn't help me so here is my question. I'm going to be 170 eqm miles short of 90k this year. I'd like the next elite perks level to gift my wife Silver Elite. My plan is to take the CO express plane from Sarasota to Tampa one way and have my friend pick me up and drive me home. The flight is 50 miles. So with the 50% eqms is it 50% of the 500 minimum (250 miles) or 50% of the actual miles (25)? Just trying to be certain before I book it. Thanks for your help.

This is Continental Connection, not Continental Express. I didn't think those flights earned WorldPerks miles at all. Certainly the nwa.com page on the subject doesn't mention them. I agree that if you do get any miles, it will be 250 EQM.

Confirmed, Continental Connection flights do not accrue mileage, either EQM or banked.

Question - earlier this year I flew TPA to Key West on a CO connection and got miles. Any idea why this flight was different?

The flights between TPA and EYW are operated by Gulfstream International, which is a NWA partner (you can find it listed on http://www.nwa.com/worldperks/earn/a...tml#gulfstream)

The flight from Sarasota is operated by Cape Air DBA Continental Connection, and Cape Air is not a partner. Anyone operating as Continental Express is fine, but if it's a Continental Connection flight then you're usually out of luck, with just a few exceptions.

(Learned this the hard way on a PIT-CLE segment. Oh well.)

Isn't one of the 60K awards 2.5K EQMs?
