Change of address?

I am moving a couple of blocks in a few weeks and have successfully made a change of address on both United and American Websites, I searched Northwest's site for a change of address form to no avail. Am I looking in the wrong place? Has anyone had success with e-mail or is snail mail my only alternative? Thanks.

Go to 'www.nwa.com' and click 'Talk to us' at the bottom. Select 'WorldPerks-Frequent Flyer'. You will than see a 'Change of Address' option.

I cannot change my US address to my UK address. Is there another location to do non-US/CND address changes?

Not very user friendly!

UK is out of the question. If you call WP to have your address changed to UK address, chances are that your Northwest WP account will be converted to KLM FD account.

It is an agreement betwen Northwest and KLM that residents in Europe are not eligible being Northwest WorldPerks members.

I second this. I wanted to have my address of record changed from ATL to BOM just for the few months that I will be in India next year, but was told that I would have to start from scratch as a KLM FD member and that my elite status doesn't carry over, even though my miles do.

Evidently, India is a KLM market under their agreement, even though NW has more flights here than KL does.

KLM Flying Dutchman programme will carry over your elite status.

The FLying Dutchman site can be found at http://en.nederland.klm.com/frequent.../cyberwing.asp

If want to change my address to Thailand, is that possible? Will I still use worldperk or have to change to FD?
Thanks.

Your best solution may be to open a PO box in the US during your time abroad. Also, there are services that will courier your mail to you abroad with a NYC address (usually an office in a major midtown builidng) However, get ready for a cross-examination. When I did this a few years ago, the UAL phone agent resisted changing to a PO box. Funny, for an industry dealing with travelers - the number-one users of PO boxes and forwarding services.

nlp, Asia Pacific is NorthWest market (not KLM). No problem changing your address to Thailand. You can do that over NW website, as instructed in my previous posting above.

I am once again moving and now I cannot even find where on the website I notify nwa.

No problems with other airlines. Needs a revamp!

I JUST did this for my boss; I called through the elite line (so they knew it was a Platinum member on the phone), thinking I might be able to do it for her, but the stodgy little Minnesotan said absolutely not.

So I proceeded to fill out the form (on the back of the paper statement) and mailed it! So silly.
