Problem w/Bonus Miles
I am looking for feedback or suggestions.
I signed up for the Memphis triple miles promotion. I also booked my flight online. It was my first booking @ NWA.com.
My FF acct was credited with 4000 for the 1st time purchase @ NWA.COM but not the 7200 miles for the triple miles. I also was not offered a choice as to which of the 2 (assuming I can only get 1) promotions I wanted. Although NWA has been terribly slow responding, I have exchanged several emails. While I have not received a response to my last email to them two weeks ago, they have essentially said via email that I am only eligible for 1 promotion and that I have received it.

Some things work better by phone. Try calling the NW WorldPerks Service Center. I think the number is 1-800-44-PERKS.

Mevans: Concur - Talk to a live person and be nice
If you do not get what you desire, send a nice letter, mention the email, then the phonecall, and wait a few weeks.
If still nothing send another letter to the head of NWA's FF program - address it to him/her by name (I forget who he/she is...) Be sure to include your prior letter as an enclosure (see why the first letter should be nice - take the moral high ground).
Be sure to state, in nice terms, what you expect.
This might take awhile but when you show the efforts you have made in trying to solve the problem, it almost always gets results. I would say always but DOC/others would let me have it BIG TIME (and we really don't want to go down that road again do we?)
Let us know what happens.
