What to do with 5K miles?
Sorry if this question has been asked before-- but I have 5K miles in NW and I never fly them and do not have Sprint anymore so I don't see adding to the 5K. I don't see where I can combine them with CO to redeem an award (like you can with AA & US). Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks!
PS- Too bad I can't give 255 of them to megamiles' cousin.

No, you can't combine with CO miles.
A Hawaiian inter-island award goes for 5K miles.

I have the same problem with about 3000 NW miles. Have never flown them and don't intend to! Is it possible to transfer them into HHonors points?

MileKing - NW miles cannot be transferred to Hilton. NW has fewer redemption options than other airlines. Last time I checked they did not offer point redemptions for magazine subscriptions either. At least the miles don't expire, even if there is no account activity. If you could get to 20K miles (with bonuses from NW partners like Hilton, clickreward, NW Visa, etc.), you could use it for a domestic RT on a Continental flight (off peak - 9 months of the year). MJW - correct me if I am wrong.
