MileKing - NW miles cannot be transferred to Hilton. NW has fewer redemption options than other airlines. Last time I checked they did not offer point redemptions for magazine subscriptions either. At least the miles don't expire, even if there is no account activity. If you could get to 20K miles (with bonuses from NW partners like Hilton, clickreward, NW Visa, etc.), you could use it for a domestic RT on a Continental flight (off peak - 9 months of the year).
