Maybe today?

doc Feb 10, 2000 8:40 am

So where is MJW?

* A row over Milan's Malpensa airport, which has cast Alitalia's
alliance with KLM ROYAL DUTCH AIRLINES into doubt, will not
jeopardise the Italian airline's selloff, Transport Minister
Pierluigi Bersani said on Wednesday. "I think any new solution
will entail a review of industrial plans but not to the extent of
putting major operations such as the privatisation of Alitalia at
risk," Bersani said. The sale of Alitalia, which is 53%
state-owned, is seen as the jewel of this year's privatisation
programme and had been expected by mid-year. (Reuters)

Thought I'd bring this forward to again pose the question in view of the recent OMNI Award announcements.

Perhaps just lurking? You are very much missed! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Kindly email me please, if possible.

Thanks! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Where Has MJW Gone?

Has MJW left us? Haven't seen a post in a long time. Is it too much to wish that NW was really concerned about our comments, good and bad?

doc Jul 12, 2001 5:22 am

I hope not permanently!

Tough to say about Northwest and what they thought, but VERY easy to say that MJW is VERY much missed!

FWIW, last MJW sighting:

Walk-up Fares LGW/LHR-DUB

I believe we still have wp to help us. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

MJW Jul 12, 2001 3:32 pm

Still around...as a faithful lurker.

I no longer work in the WorldPerks organization, so it
is not really appropriate for me to serve as the official
rep. I leave that in the very capable hands of wp!! And FlyerTalk
definitely has the attention of many others here at NWA. I do pass
on posts to others in the company when it seems warranted. As my
new responsibilities are analytical rather than operational, I've
decided to "butt out"!

Thanks, doc, for posting that link to my FT low point (kidding).
My first attempt to join FT as a "regular person"...clearly not
a good idea. But I realize that it is easy to misinterpret
intentions/true meanings/tone in this medium.

spartacus - there are plenty of folks who care here at NWA! We
will continue to fight the good fight and make NWA a great
airline...both for customers and employees.

doc Jul 12, 2001 9:46 pm

MJW- You always were, as you are now, a "regular person" in my view, and also a person who is/was very appreciated on FT and very deserving! So I, for one, would say that it was NOT a bad idea (and trust me please on this, as I've had a few too many of these in my time) and I'd urge you to post a question or viewpoint whenever you get the "urge" to! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Perhaps the "problem" here in this last case, in which there was some discomfort experienced, is that we generally here just assumed that you actually do in fact know it all! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Remember, it is truly only due to your presence that I am even on FT at all. And truly you are VERY missed!

Let me please offer you a deal in honor of the recent departure of Mr. Dasburg! You keep on posting as you choose and I'll fly more on NWA! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif Or I'll even stay off NWA aircraft forever! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/eek.gif You make the choice! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

BTW- the earlier offer regarding your issue naturally still holds!

Again, you can also always email me if you want to contact me for any reason! Even to yell at me! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Hope you have a great holiday in any case! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

MJW...glad to see you are still around and thanxabunch for still passing on posts to the appropriate people when you see them.

I echo what Doc says, post away and don't be a stranger (or a lurker!).

BTW, my post in the buzz regarding Airlink partner pulling out of CSG and my situation was promptly answered by MRJ1964, in the thread and by E-mail. Just wanna know when we will start seeing Whopper's for lunch!!!

monitor Nov 26, 2001 6:00 pm

She's back except right now you can only find her on the CO board. See topic: "How long is it taking 4 your NW codeshares to post?"
With any luck, she'll be over here soon.
