And please don't be embarrassed. There is nothing for you to be embarassed by!

More doc! Jul 21, 1999 12:50 pm

Wish I can say the same for everyone...

doc Jul 21, 1999 5:16 pm

Yes, I understand. Me too!

MJW:
As the self appointed #1 NWA cheerleader on Webflyer, and with no current NWA problems, I say to you -

MJW - YO DA (WO)MAN!
====================
Thanks for doing such a great job on the board and making it easy for me to keep my "knowitall" self out of things.

MJW:

I am really impressed not only with your bravery for jumping in here, but also with your bos(ses) for allowing you to do so.

I used to work for a member of congress from detroit who served on the transportation committee, and so spent plenty of time with Northwest's corporate people working on things like the DTW airport funding and open skies (is LeAnn Reddick still in your D.C. office?) and have always been impressed with the culture of dedication and risk taking NW seems to encourage.

It's great to see that 9 years later, Northwest still has the guts to stick its neck out for its very best customers. (Are you listening, you UA lurkers?!?!?!?!?)

Point is, congrats on the OMNI not only to you, but to all of NWA!!!

MJW Jul 22, 1999 8:46 pm

OK, you guys! Cut it out! Thank you for all your kind words...
but stop!

Matt Wald - I'll look up LeAnn Reddick...see if she is still in DC.
I know I have spoken with at least one woman in our DC offices, but
I don't think it was LeAnn.

Where's MJW?

She hasn't posted for a while; last post I could dredge up was dated August 10.

Come back, come back, MJW, we miss you!

Punki Sep 1, 1999 8:16 pm

Yes, please? Maybe she is on a great vacation. Maybe an RTW, checking up on Rudi?

Well, where are you?

MJW Sep 2, 1999 12:02 pm

It's so nice to be missed!

I did take a short vacation to visit my sister and her family in Germany.
I may have been near Rudi as my sister lives near the Austrian
and Swiss borders! A great trip which went by too quickly.

We have also started our 2000 budgeting process. Big fun, as
you can imagine. I will be caught up in that for a couple of
months, but will try to visit FT when I can. Not my favorite time of
the year, let me tell you!

dgolds Sep 2, 1999 2:27 pm

MJW: Welcome back! Good to see your post today.

So when are you posting your trip report? http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

MJW - let's not be so modest and anonymous!

FTers, check out the following:
1-FT IN THE NEWS 9/2/99 TRAVEL EXECUTIVES STOP LURKING, START TALKING TO FLIERS ONLINE.

2-http://interactive.wsj.com/public/current/articles/BusinessFareMain.html

I don't know why 2 above won't reference to the WSJ article, but it is downloaded at the thread in 1 above.

Also, I don't understand why MJW is "ACTING" NWA FF manager. I thought "ACTING" was just for people nominated by CLINTON who congress won't confirm. I hope I speak on behalf of all NWA FTers in voting to IMMEDIATELY CONFIRM MJW as REAL DEAL FF manager.
