Delta Code Share Seating Assignments
I'm booked on DEN-MEM-VPS on May 26. Ticket was booked as Delta flight (but obviously NW metal). I went to NWA website to try and get a seat assignment. The only seats that appeared avaliable were the upgrade purchase seats. Am I unabl eto be assigned a seat because it's a codeshare or is the flight likely that full? Thanks for any info.

Under reservation center > Manage my reservations > View / Change reservation on NWA.com where your itinerary is listed, it should also show your PNR for Delta. Try to get on delta.com and check if you can get seats there.

I was only able to do this within 24 hours of flight time on a combined NW/DL metal itinerary. This was by selecting "online check in" an then selecting seats (actual online checkin didn't work). Before that point, the select seats option was grayed out. YMMV
