Question: 100,000 MILE DASH Promotion
I noticed that NW didnot credit me points for flights flow on this promotion but, have done that for Self-servive check in.
Is this common or do i need to call them.

Good luck with that...I have had no luck. I had an itinerary with 4 legs on NW/KLM with 1 leg on Air France. The AF flight was on a separate day from all other qualifying flights. No dice on any credit. I missed 60 points with that flight from Barcelona to Paris.

If you're a Gold or Plat elite member, you might also fax in a request, which will usually get a faster and better response.

I've running 100% with 100,000 Dash, in regards to posting of checkin, purchase, etc. Then again, I've flown 100% NW metal, so that might have something to do with it. The only issue I've had is the same one everyone else had, with the splitting of the totals into two groups for a while.

With similar programs in the past, if you had the miles on the other carrier posted to a different FF program than WP, the NW system would give you the promo credit, even if the other carrier's flight was purchased from NW on a NW ticket.

100,000 MILE DASH Promotion
So are any flyertalk members in the top 10 in the platinum, gold, silver and base race? Would be great if a flyertalk member wins!

I'm currently quite high in my category, but will be moving to another tier in a week, where I'll probably only land at #2. Hopefully #1 from that tier will go up a status level also =)
I'm missing a few nights of hotel credit just from them getting loaded in quite slowly - but other than that every single flight/checkin is in there. I check 12 times a day.
(obsession/sickness/ i'd really like to win)
Will be nice to find out if I'm competing against other FT'ers for top 3 in a few weeks - may keep us all from making last minute point runs just to win if we all agree to not fly for a week =)

But on the way home, I was on KL MAD-AMS within 24 hours of my NW LGW-DTW-LAX trip. I was credited 30 100,000 Mile Dash points for that part of the trip.

Now today I have a new issue. Just checked the 100k dash leader board - and my names not on it! even though the points I have should still have me in the top 10 for my tier...
...
I know, I know, it doesnt matter until the end, but I liked to see where I fell when they did the points snapshot

On a recent trip I used Alamo. How long in your experiences for them to post? Both W/P miles and Promopoints?
Thanks Poppabear

For the record, here are the rules they quote: "For this promotion, qualifying travel (roundtrip or one-way) must be on a paid, published fare ticket on Northwest-operated flights 1-1999, Northwest codeshare flights 8200-8849 operated by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines or Northwest Airlink flights 2700-2799 and 3000-3699 operated by Mesaba or 2800-2999, 3700-3999, 4700-4799 and 5600-5999 operated by Pinnacle Airlines."

Although I am no competition for the top awards I am hoping for a small bonus in the dash.
I have read the rules but don't understand how a leg of my flight can have 2 booking classes:
On a flight reserved 8 months in advance:
CDG-DTW on NW booking class Y/V was entered into the dash credits as "V" (15 pts instead of 50). This hardly seems fair to me siince the rules state 'booking' class not 'paid' class.
Should I pursue this further (already refused by email once)?
