When does CO EUA NW Elites?

Did a search on this and couldn't find anything, so... We all know that NW has a 5/3/1 window that usually is more likely 6/4/2 unless NWA holds back elite heavy flights for last minute BF UG's, but when does CO release seats?

I'm on a NWA itin with a NW leg and CO leg for Friday, and have already been EUA'd for the NW portion yesterday (which is after the CO segment). KVS shows no changes in fare class avail for the CO part (showing C8 D0 Z0) since Sunday and their seat map shows the same, 8 seats left. When does CO process EUA's for NW? According to their website for Onepass Elite's it's processed "starting" at 5/3/1, but when is it for NW elites? Same?

Thanks in advance.

It's also a 6/4/2 window, and it runs in the evenings (around 6pm - 10PM PST, give or take). CO is a bit better at the holdback than NW is. You'll often see seats metered out over days instead of in a lump sum like NW.

The time of the flight doesn't have any relevance to EUA. It's done by days before not hours before.

Forgot to ask too - how do you guys check to see if you have been EUA'd by CO? On NWA's website (reservations area), the seat assignment shows as "not-assigned."

I can go to CO's website and enter in the reservation by number and name, and pick up the CO seat assignments. However, I know that sometimes this is not accurate for me and when I make changes the next time I check the changes didn't stick. Is this where you would check to see if you have been EUA'd?

3 days for me...

My latest CO flight (SAN-IAH, IAH-ORF) was upgraded 3 days out. I logged into the CO site and checked via confirmation #, and I was in 2F vice 10whatever.

It was a pretty full flight, so I may have been put up front earlier than most NW elites to make room in the back.

As far as seat changes not sticking, I've flown quite a bit of CO and not had that problem...I make the seat changes on CO's website, and click through until it say "seat changes confirmed" or "approved" or something like that.

Cheers,
-BS

I have not had any problems with CO upgrades they work just like NWA. I have had to call for my Yup to get it early. CO does have more people buying F so on some flights it is hard to get an upgrade.

It sure is (hard to get an upgrade) from my experience. Just flew CO1689 DTW-IAH-SAN this evening... 12A on both legs with FC completely full. DTW CO agent told me only one seat open and I was third on the standby list.

Didn't help that the guy in 12B was a cross between a linebacker and NBA player. I certainly didn't have full use of my seat.

I need to keep on the Red Tail - FC may not be as nice as others, but at least I can get an UG consistently.

I routinely get upgraded on NW at the prescribed 5/3/1 window (often earlier) but almost never get upgraded on CO at the prescribed window, even if the itinerary is split between them. If I get upgraded on CO at all, it is usually much closer to flight time.

CO treats NW and CO elites the same (possibly giving CO elites preference if all else equal) but most of their planes have fewer FC seats and they sell a higher percentage than NW, hence fewer available for upgrade.

I flew IAH-DCA on CO on Sunday. Just a 735, but I was told that F was full and that I -- as a plat -- was #15 on the list!!
