DTW monitors
Just flew through DTW yesterday. First time in a while. Great airport still! But the monitors showing flight information... Many were green/yellow and almost impossible to read. After four years of constant use it is time to change them.

Since I never wear a watch, I stopped by an open/empty Alaska Gate Agent station and asked for the correct time. I was most disappointed when the GA told me that the correct time would be on the monitor behind me. Oh well.
Of course that was the day of the Daylight Time Change, but still.

ours too!
We thought they were getting the wrong time off the cell phone tower in Atlantic City but I guess Sprint's issues with Daylight Savings Time were more widespread than that.

Monitors are out or can barely be viewed, sidewalks are out of service, most of the faucets and soap dispensers don't work... What's going on?
The new terminal is beautiful and efficient but if maintenance is ignored, it will become like the old termninal in a brief time.
As an aside, over the past two years, I have sent email to the addresses on the airport's web page and left voice messages with suggestions, complaints and questions. I have yet to receive a reply to anything.
