? re layover in SIN

I will be flying home from KUL at the end of April through SIN. I arrive on an MH flight at 12:10 am. I will be connecting to NW 6 to NRT, but that flight doesn't leave until 6:00 am. I have a WBC ticket. Will there be a lounge open that I can hang out in? What can I do to pass the time? Also, does anybody know if I will have to claim my checked luggage? If I do, I guess that will waste some time until I can slide in to that WBC seat and relax until I reach NRT.

Thanks

I'd recommend checking the Changi airport website. There's a lot of information on there - http://www.changi.airport.com.sg/changi/index.jsp. You can also reserve a room in 6 hour blocks at the transit hotel. The rates are relatively reasonable and from my walk through the airport it appeared to be a nice facility. Their website is at http://www.airport-hotel.com.sg/.

I would also recommend the transit hotel. It is clean and convenient.

Okay, I'll vote against the transit hotel.

The transfer desk and lounge you can use will open at 3:00am. There's normally plenty of seating and quiet areas within the terminal if you want, or activities -- food, or TV's that you can watch, and internet access.

Me, I'd stay up, putz around, get myself on the plane, and sack out from wheels up to touchdown in Tokyo.
