V class - availability tool?

I apologize, I know this information is in this site somewhere. But I've spent the last hour looking for it through the thread searches, and going to various "availability tools" and not being able to do what I need.

What I need is a link showing me what fare buckets are available on NW for a range of days. Specifically, I'm looking for V availability to LGW during February and March.

Thanks for any help. Admins can lock this if I get an answer. Like I said, I know this is probably in here somewhere, I just can't find it.

I don't think there's a tool available that can give you a particular class availability over a range of dates - I think you have to look at each individual date with the tools that are currently available. If you find one, please post it here.

OK, even a tool that lets me do one day at a time would be helpful, as long as it allows me to punch in a fare class.

Got one?

I find the KVS availability tool to be very good for this.

Otherwise the Carlson Wagonlit Travel Class Availability tool works.

Thank you. Here are a couple of samples of a result from Carlson:

Y9 B9 M9 H9 Q9 V9 L9 T9 K9

Y9 B9 M9 H7 Q7 V0 L0 T0 K0

Am I seeing that the first flight has 9 seats available in each of those classes, and the second flights has 9 seats available in Y, B, & M, and -0- seats available in the other classes?

If you are shopping for V fares, NWA.COM will allow you to search by "V" fare's or higher as well ITA (http://matrix.itasoftware.com/cvg/dispatch/prego). Both do not show you what the availability is, however they do show you if there is a V fare for the route and dates. - H

You've pretty much got it.

But a few general things to keep in mind when looking at availability numbers:
  1. The numbers are the number of tickets available for sale in each class, not necessarily the number of seats (they can and do overbook).
  2. 9 is as high as the Carlson availability tool goes, so there are at least 9 tickets available (not necessarily limited to 9).
  3. Availability is not cumulative. Some classes may be subsets of other classes. So there are at least 9 tickets available for sale in each class on the first flight, but there are not necessarily 81 tickets (9 times the 9 different classes) available.
  4. Sometimes availability tools will show all-9's across the board, but the airline still won't sell a seat in some of the low classes. That's because fares are restricted by a combination of availability and whether the airline has an applicable fare published on that route.

There's currently a special running for V fares if you subscribe to NWA email...$208 to London or Paris. Book by 2/18 and travel by 2/21.
