Problem w/getting my miles

I had a O/W ATL-IAD on UA, volunteered, and was placed on DAL. Delta told me I could earn my NWA miles and my boarding pass reflected my NWA Skyteam Elite #. I have sent both NWA & DAL copies and they both say the other is responsible. How can I get them to credit my NWA Worldperks account? I did speak w/ a lady at Delta (she told me something different than the letter I recieved) stating they would NOT give me miles as UAL had protected me on DAL. I was flying on a revenue ticket and can only suspect that DAL got more money out of UAL, then UAL got out of me? I guess it sounds silly to quabble over 500 miles....but that might just be enough for me to make GOLD (w/the SkyTeam group) for next year, so it's important. I have been bumped and/or volunteered before and never had such a run-around, and earned my miles.
Can anyone help me?

It's not unusual for DL miles to fail to post to a NW account. Rather than bring the whole story into the picture, I would just fax your DL boarding pass to the WP service center with a brief note requesting the miles.

Do you have status on NW? NW is who you want to be talking to. DL can't help you now.

FAX your boarding pass and receipts to your NW Elite fax line and I"ve never had any problems doing so.

I faxed and mailed NWA....to no avail they said Delta needed to report to them and I faxed and mailed DAL and they said NWA needed to be contacted. It's crazy...and still no credit for this trip. Any other ideas?

Keep trying, and make sure you're getting the names of the people you're talking to. If worst comes to worst (and only if it gets that far) maybe you should send a letter to Beth (do a search here).

Humm? Why is my SKYTEAM ELITE NWA number printed on the boarding pass?
Also I was told on the phone (w/DAL) since UAL put me on DAL that they would not award me miles w/NWA or DAL...yet the letter I have states "if you provide both your Delta Skymiles number and a Skymiles Partner account number, the flights will automatically be credited to your Delta SkyMiles account".
The letter I received from NWA (don't have it front of me) stating I would need to send them my BOARDING PASS and RECEIPT so I mailed the UAL receipt and my boarding pass to them explaning that I was placed on DAL by UA and that DAL had said I COULD earn my miles w/NWA.
I have been placed on "other" carriers and received my miles w/the carrier I was bumped over to....good example UA to RG....and in turn I earned my miles w/UA Mileage Plus and my SMILES miles w/Varig...no problems what-so-ever. I HAVE earned NWA miles flying DAL this year...but nothing like this problem happened in spite of what DAL's letter stated.
Do I need to contact Beth? Is she the get it done lady...here,w/NWA or DAL?
