Is this (currently) correct?
Yes it is currently, but: watch the test thing for U15s, as it can been a moving target; and CPH will currently let you transit back to the US even by yourself with a Covid-19 test. For those present in the Schengen area, transiting Denmark to take a ticketed flight to get to country of citizenship/residence is deemed a “worthy purpose”.

The Coronapas app (the real deal, not the Minsundhed app that has been used so far) was released today.

Regeringen er klar med nyt digitalt coronapas
https://fm.dk/nyheder/nyhedsarkiv/20...alt-coronapas/

I have included a screenshot from setting up the app.

Now only if Denmark starts thinking about the non-Danes vaccinated in the US in such a way as to put us in the same boat as Danes vaccinated in the US.

I share your sentiment. My wife certainly does! She will be cooped up somewhere for five days while I roam the streets.

I hope she’s not going to be stuck for five days in some small Copenhagen apartment where the bathrooms are tiny and the shower stall is no bigger than the size of a fridge.

I wonder if any Danish-American couples will be coming to Sweden or Germany in the weeks and months ahead to try to get more room elsewhere in Europe before going to Denmark. The middle-aged and older Danes in Sweden seem to be largely back to getting Danish visitors, as there is a big increase in DK plates around residential areas in Skane and also more visiting Danes shopping in Malmö once again. A sign of Denmark reopening and vaccinations.

Being vaccinated is now more beneficial!

My nose thanks Denmark and you for the info.

Sweden has phased out the passport control staffing for Denmark-Sweden crossings by public transit this weekend. No passport control when coming into Malmö from Copenhagen today. Trains from Copenhagen into Malmö are packed like crazy this morning, but part of that could be due to service interruptions. They are packed with mask wearing passengers from Copenhagen being the majority, but then the masks get removed somewhere between Malmö-Hyllie arrival and wherever in Sweden the passengers get off. But by the time the train reaches Lund, the mask use seems to plummet to sub-3% of passengers.

I have my CDC COVID-19 vaccination proof along with me. Just don’t know yet if I’ll be taking the train to Copenhagen today or flying from Sweden to Copenhagen later this weekend (if at all getting back to Denmark before Monday). I’ll be sure to share what I find out from my crossings and those of others.

Fun reading when with spare time:

https://en.coronasmitte.dk/rules-and...nts-upon-entry

So it appears that flying to Denmark will no longer always require my nose to have a visit from a swab for COVID-19 testing before arrival.

I'm confused by all these rules. As a fully vaccinated Canadian citizen and resident, can I visit Denmark for tourism purposes? It would be in August so I'm sure things can change.

Good for you, but bad for me. The rug has been pulled from under me; my wife now doesn't have to quarantine for the first five days, which means no happy hours roaming the streets, no return to my long lost youthful freedom!

Google translated from today's changes: "With effect from Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 16 vaccinated from OECD countries, including the United Kingdom and the United States, and vaccinated from "yellow" third countries, are equated with vaccinated from EU and Schengen countries. This means that they can enter if they can document that they have been vaccinated with an EMA-approved vaccine and that 14 days have passed since the last bite. They will be exempted i.a. from requirements for recognizable purpose and test and isolation requirements."

Canada is an OECD country and is orange. So it would appear that if you are otherwise permitted to enter the country, being fully vaccinated now exempts you from test and quarantine. You should reach out for official verification though.

I look forward to your report. Much is happening at crossings these days!
