ARN info required
Evening,
I'm hoping this question is in the right place, if not, Mods please move.
We have a 7 hour stopover at ARN in January before we connect on QR to Sydney. We are mulling over going into the city for a few hours but realise we would need boots/coats etc, however we obviously don't need them in Sydney.
My question is that although I know there are various sizes of lockers available, does anyone know the cost of hiring one & if it's possible to hire for 3 weeks (to leave coats etc while we are in Australia)?
Any help would be really appreciated, thank you.

They do store winter clothes in ARN baggage storage. Cost is 15 SEK per day for one coat plus bag for shoes, hat, gloves etc.

Since I just came back from ARN, some more notes/details :-).
Take the shuttle bus - they have power (230V Europe outlets) +free Wifi!
http://www.flygbussarna.se/en/arlanda
You can buy tickets online, at a vending machine (VISA+PIN) or at the 7eleven (215 SEK return).
Note that you will spend some 45-50 minutes per leg (they depart every 10min over the day) - but they've fastlanes (Taxi not..).
Have fun in Stockholm, it's a very nice city!

You don't want to spend your brief stay in Stockholm stuck in a traffic jam.

Thanks Jaymar, really appreciated. I'll take a look at the trains as I agree with you on time spent. We are only planning 2/3 hours in the city, so would want to get there & back in the quickest time.
We have a couple of months before this trip so plenty of time to look further into it all.

Just bumping this back as we've pretty much decided not to go into the city during our layover.
We are due to arrive at ARN at approx 14:50 on 23/1 & as I understand it, we won't be able to check in for our QR flight until 18:25. We will likely need to eat/drink something whilst we wait so wondering if we should get local currency (we also have approx 4 hours wait in the return leg) to pay for food or should we not bother & use UK debit cards?
Also, is there a smoking lounge inside the terminal or does the smoker need to go outside?
Many thanks.

I wouldn't bother with local currency, any store would accept at a minimum any VISA or MasterCard in the world, and for Arlanda probably any AmEx or Diners, too. I think the food is quite boring airside, a bit better in SkyCity but still not really exiting. But that's for you to decide.

You can smoke outside; which isn't a problem non-airside. That airport is small ;-)
Airside has several options, too. Check the Smoking Lounge Forum here.
Payment can be done with - at least VISA - CC everywhere, Sweden is the poster-kid of 'cashless society'. There's at least one deli with rather decent food on the airside.
