Irregular operations at BOS today?

Here in Cambridge, MA, I saw four planes fly over this afternoon so far, including one large LH jet. Prior to this, I've never seen a commercial aircraft fly over Cambridge.

Does anyone know if something strange is happening at BOS today that resulted in route alterations? Or is this perhaps the beginning of a permanent takeoff/landing route change?

I've seen a couple of times when planes fly over Watertown on approach. It is just a wind thing.

Takeoff or landing?

If the planes takeoff from 33L then they head over Cambridge somewhat routinely.

seen lots of planes flying low from take-off over Cambridge on many different days- not normal, but not unusual either. Just curious, where do you go to school CollegeFlyer?
