Miles driven wrong?
I had a 2 day rental at JFK and when I left it had around 10,500+ miles on it and I usually reset the trip before I leave and it stated I drove around 500 miles. My receipt says I left at 9,000 and returned around 11,000. Stated drove 1,560 miles or so. I can't even fathom driving in nyc and long Island which was where I drove in that amount in 2 days.

I once had a 17 day rental from Buffalo to St Louis, and my emailed receipt showed I drove 21 miles. The wrong mileage was probably entered from the person who rented before you. As the previous poster mentioned, with unlimited miles, don't worry about it.

Drove from JFK to my customer's site in Oceanside, from there to a hotel in Rockville Center, back to the customer the next morning, and returned it to JFK that evening.
When I dropped it off I told them that I found it pretty annoying that I just bought a quarter of a tank of gas for what amounted to less than 30 miles of driving, and that I figured that 2017 model cars generally got better than 5 or 6 miles to the gallon.
The guys says "According to the odometer reading, you drove 429 miles."
Umm. no.
And, of course I wasn't given a copy of the rental agreement at the booth when I checked it out.
A quick conversation with some kid who identified himself as "the manager" led them to crediting my rental for the cost of the gas that I bought. I may or may not have been wearing my "I have worked two 30-hour days this week and I *really* don't need this crap" face....
