edited to add:
(I have just been informed that it may be possible to use the idine site with multiple cards & programs if you set up different accounts with different user names and different address & phone #'s)

I had my AMEX (from Delta Skymiles) registered with iDine, miles to post to Delta when I was hot to get Delta miles to top off an award.
Now I'm not interested and am pursuing United miles. I went in to iDine via the United MP promotional site and registered my AMEX, miles to post to my United account.
Will this take care of the reassignment of miles, so that they'll now go to my United account, or do I need to do more to get them to no longer post to Delta Skymiles?

To be safe, you'd want to go to the Delta iDine website and remove the card from your profile. But you may have a problem here. I think the Delta Amex can only be used for Skymiles with iDine.
Some affinity cards actually come preregistered to earn miles with iDine - that's what happened with either my BA Visa or NW Visa, I can't recall.
You may want to call iDine customer service on this.

One additional bit of info about i-dine that I learned while buying Christmas gifts:
Restaurant gift certificates paid for with your i-dine credit card will also generate miles (normal processing time, i.e. before gift certificate has been redeemed for a meal).
This would also seem to be a way around blackout dates (i.e., buy a gift certificate on a Wednesday afternoon and use it to dine on a Saturday night).

Once again, this is a topic that might be better served if it were in a separate IDine Forum. Please see the thread in suggestions requesting a separate IDine Forum and if you agree, add your sentiments to that thread. Thanks.
