I clarified with Chase today about additional cardholders. They say the 2.5k miles go to the named additional cardholder, not the primary on the joint account.

Limit one personal checking account-related award/premium per customer, per calendar year. YMMV Obviously.

I did mine through the website, and as reported above, got stuck at entering the coupon code. I continued anyway, but was surprised the account opening process did not ask for my OnePass number. When I called to inquire, a very uninformed agent couldn't answer my questions whether I participate in this offer and told me to contact Continental Airlines!
Wow.
Can someone briefly explain the steps? At what point do you provide your OnePass number? Did anyone open it online and got the miles?
Thanks!
