AA tips its greedy hand
Lots of discussion lately re The Great (Coming) Mileage Yank. Heard today a radio ad for American Airline miles that I think says it all:
"American Airlines reserves the right to modify the program at any time without notice, or cancel the AAdvantage program with six months' notice."
( . . . and start a new DisAAdvantage program with no pain-in-the-... lifetime elites or seven-figure balances?)

Huh?
This kind of disclaimer is not new, nor unique to AA.

Significant actual changes or news regarding a frequent flyer program certainly can be 'Buzzworthy.'
Speculation about what might happen in an individual, specific program belongs in that program's dedicated forum. In this instance, speculation about what changes American might implement is pretty well covered in the American Airlines forum. I'm going to close this thread here.
