I Bonds - 6 or 12 months?
I know there is a ton of bond data here....I have read allot of it.
I just bought some I Bonds. We also did this last October during AX Triple Promo. We cashed those in in April.
With I Bonds....can we still cash them in after 6 (or possibly 4.5) months?
I was looking at pgary's site and am not sure if I understood correctly.
Do we now have to wait 12 months to turn in the I Bonds?
I plan to buy a few more before July 15th....but might not if I have to hold them all 12 months.
Thanks

Also, if you maxed out your $45000 in January (that was the limit then), you can sell the exact same bonds you bought in January now, and then buy $45,000 more. (Of course, you have already bought the extra $15000 now allowed for EE bonds, right?)

Apples and oranges???
Okay so far, except the limit on I bonds are 30000 (face and money), then and now
EE bonds, which were not the subject, were 30000 face (15000 money) and are now double.
Now the 45000 mentioned could be the old limit I + EE, if that was what was being referred to??? That is indeed now, 90,000 face (60000 real money). WOW.
