bummer. does that mean we'd have nothin to talk about over coffee?
anyway, I suggest possibly revisiting your selections to ANYTHING point/mile more frequently than just once a year--for what it's worth. Thes programs and policies are changing faster than a NBA basketball game's late 4th quarter score!

If it were morning coffee I can't talk intelligently about anything - much less credit cards!

Good suggestion - and it is one of those things -I know I should, I say I will - and then I don't. Perhaps starting this thread is the beginning of actual effort versus merely good intentions - especially with all the great information that is being shared.

That site the OP mention has reasonably well informed info /recos.
I use the Starwood card and Citi Premier Pass Elite as well. Like the easy airline transfer with Starwood -- and Citi works well because the free flights you redeem are revenue tickets -- they count toward accruing status and earn miles.
I use the Citi card to earn domestic travel -- and the Starwood card for hotel nights or transfers to my airline accounts for intl business class awards. you're wise to give up the us air card and use the starwood point transfer instead.
