175K-BA
I have 175k BA miles in my acct.
Any suggestions on how to use these miles effectively b4 the July 1st changes.
Also have 127k AA miles. Can I 'combine' in any way to maximise usage b4 all hell breaks loose

This probably belongs on the BA forum as you will get more knowledgable people. Before July 1 your could go to Europe or North Africa in business class for 80K each. You could order a ticket and you have a year to change dates as BA (at the moment) does not charge for changing dates. I am going to London in a week and booked 2 tickets when BA gave 5K off for booking on line, so two tickets cost 150K. I have 170K left and plan to order 2 tickets, business for Tunisia before the same ticket will cost 130K each. I don't know if I can go this summer, but I'll have a year to use them.

Though it may be too late in time for the changes that BA will implement, you can transfer your AA miles (no limit, though they do advertise a 50k per year limit) to Diners Club and then in a few months, June/July when DC offers the 1:1 DC to BA promotion, you can move your former AA miles which are now DC points into BA. Details on this promotion are mentioned in the BA forum. It's a great deal, over the past few years of this promotion, I moved nearly 1 million Diners Club points, which I had consolidated from AA, UA and at one time Delta and actual earned DC points to BA for many First Class tickets to Europe and Concorde flights without having ever paid for a BA flight. I realize that the changes at BA will be costly, more miles needed for a flight, however, I really enjoy the airline for flights to Europe and will continue to move my points and miles from other accounts into BA via DC even though my points and miles will be devalued in the coming months.

Welcome to Flyertalk, osofoff.
dgordon was spot on in saying
The changes to the Executive Club program, and all options for BA miles, have been discussed in detail over there.
A search of that forum may well yield the answers you're looking for. Otherwise, asking the question over there will certainly get the most informed response.
I'll move this thread to the BA forum for you.
