Greyhound Mileage Program?
I was amused to see an Amtrack rewards topic here. Is there also a Greyhound rewards program?

They had bus connections to different airports: one could travel bus-to-plane-to-bus. I believe they offered through ticketing, and schedules were timed so buses would meet flights.
IMHO, I think it would be a great change of business model for Greyhound of the US to focus even more on providing service and high frequencies for connections to airports-- say service within about 100-150 miles of low fare airports.... far enough to not want to drive, but close enough that an $8 each way bus ride coupled with a lower fare would make it worth the passenger's while. PHL-- to BWI or NYC to ISP come to mind.
--- Bonanza Bus Lines currently offers hourly service from Boston to PVD.
--- Greyhound already partners with AirTran for FlightLink service to ATL airport from Macon, GA and Chattanooga through about 1998. See http://www.2600.com/hackedphiles/val...ywefly_06.html
Don't forget about the "bus" flights from O'Hare to Rockford IL, or DEN to Breckenridge. While not Greyhound per se, it's scheduled bus service nonetheless.

150 miles are good for 40% off of a one way or round trip ticket, or a discount on an unlimited use pass.

Actually the Amtrak Guest Rewards program is not asuming, it is quite useful to wash miles to UA etc.
As far as Greyhound is concerned, come on guys dont't be such snobs! But I agree with all such sentiments! But do you have laugh so

Now, now, guys.....
I once had a job delivering Motorhomes and trucks to dealers from the factories in Indiana and guess how you had to get back? Either tow a car behind you or take the bus. In reality a 60 day pass for 8 bucks a day is the most reasonable cost per mile and if it is an express bus you can sleep on it saving the hotel cost and of course freeing up valuable DOT driving crew rest hours. Of course I don't think a rewards program would honor miles from a pass, but if there were an option of LA to Chicago, or NYC to Chicago air tickets on very short notice for less than $100 the I would ot have had to ride the dog...
