List of the magazine that interests me, (name, # of issues, # of miles):
- Barrons , 26 , 1700
- BusinessWeek ,51, 1600
- Financial Times , 306, 2000
- Forbes 26, 1200
- Fortune and Golf Magazine, 25 and 12 issues, 1,800
- Fortune, 25, 1400
- The Economist, 51, 3200
- The Wall Street Journal, 230, 3300
There are about 57 magazines in the list. You can also order via their toll free number, 1-800-961-8723. When calling, be sure to get into a quiet zone, otherwise their automated voice recognition won't work.

By snail mail, via the form it's supplied.

And possibly not even in the US. I placed my order weeks ago and just got a postcard saying it could not be completed. I'll post the results when I have time to call in and ask why.

It definitely seems to come and go. I noticed The Economist on the list of magazines available for OnePass miles several months ago. I did whatever I needed to do at the website and then didn't hear anything for like 6 weeks - I figured everything was all messed up. But in the middle of September, they took the 3200 miles from my account. And the mailing label is now showing that the subscription had been extended a year. So it worked for me with OnePass miles as recently as late summer.

Apparently the error with my order was a clerical one, so The Economist is still available with CO miles. I just started receiving them last week.

magazines for miles other than The Economist?
USAir just started offering The Economist as well: Link.
My subscription to Forbes is expiring, but I don't remember how I went about it the last time. Am going to renew WSJ through UA. What about other possible options, and are they reliable?

As I've said, I have gotten and will again the WSJ using UA miles going through the UA website. I don't remember how/where I started my expiring subscription to Forbes, but vaguely recall that I picked Forbes from a list of magazine options, only a few of any interest. I think that there are more opportunities to burn air miles for subscriptions, and sometimes get a very good cpm for disposing of them that way. (The WSJ at 1200 UA for 13 weeks is a great deal, at least until the WSJ is free online to all. Even then, I would still prefer to hold the paper in my hands as I read it.)
So, can others here point me to where to look for magazines for miles deals. Websites? (Maybe I'll try Googling to see what that brings up. I was hoping, though, that others would have knowledge based on their personal experiences. I'd rather not have the aggravation of using the miles and never seeing the subscriptions.)

US Miles
I just did it with US miles. I wish I had know about all the choices a few months ago...I just renewed a bunch of the magazines that they offer! Good to remember for next year...

Yes, and where did you go to subscribe with those US miles. (I think I may have gotten Forbes with US miles. Did you do it through Magazines for Miles, US itself, or elsewhere?)

That link doesn't work for me. Is there any place else to look for what magazines/papers can be had for US miles? For UA miles? DL? CO? And others?
