Ahhh this is nice isn't it. A bit like a 'love-in'!

How many posts does a 'newby' have to make before we can start being, ummmmm, uncharitable with them?

30?? - full membership...

(of course, there could be rare exceptions for those who insult BA... but Steinerboy is a BA fan, and thus worthy of our protection)

If he is such a supporter of BA why isn't his handle SteinerboyBA!

Watch Merry and Baobab respond slavishly to my post now (my crystal ball into the future is absolutely clear).

BB: I thought the Air Canada thread was created for your mischief - and you have way over 30 posts, so you can't touch me!

Maybe I too need to be less blunt! Really!

Rudi is the unofficial ruler and best friend of all on this board (Although they should be NO Rulers... we should be treated equally!)

But ease up on criticizing some of us on the inane postings. We are among friends here.

And thanks for the support! CATMAN

I too am a newbie/ex-lurker and loves to read the Buzz and CO posts. Could someone explain to me, what is the OMNI?

Also, I am currently in Boston for my son's ice hockey tourney and I have seen a few posts regarding Legal Seafood in Boston. Is it a good place for dinner?

I enjoy everyone's tips and banter.

Welcome Newself,

Bab's will no doubt tell you more about restaurants in Boston and Catman is on call for Omni explanations.

As far as 'Legal Seafood' goes, I have only been to the one in the Copley Centre, but I think they are all pretty much the same, I wasn't at all impressed, in fact I was very dissapointed. But don't read too much into that, the company was not very good and I am not a great seafood lover.

There is a good restaurant at the Hyatt though...

newself - LSF is probably fine - visitors to Boston like it, and I'm sure that your son will appreciate it more than many of the more upmarket restaurants available.

As for OMNI - do a search in the Buzz, with the thread/subject title "OMNI?" - I think it was started by philforest.

There's an explanation there.

Michael, Bryan et al - if you are reading this: if you ever create a section for classic threads, this should be one of them!

newself is the correct name...a few years back I needed to clean up my act so I adopted the name to match my hopefully new self.

Catman, I am not in the newsbiz, but I enjoy keeping up with it. And now I have found myself addicted to FF Miles!

I enjoy the Buzz and please keep it going!

Thanks for clarifying your new self, NewsElf.
We all need to make changes once in awhile.

Enjoy FlyerTalk and if you haven't already tell us you story if you like on Baobab's posting "Who we all are..." CATMAN
